    I’m not sure if we truly, fully understand what happened, when Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden. We all spiritually died, because all mankind was inside of Adam. We had to leave the presence of God, and we gave away the territory that God had given us. His sons and daughters we were kings without a domain.

    This made me think of the story of Esau and Jacob, when Esau was so hungry, that without thinking, he gave up his birthright for something to eat. We lost the expanded kingdom God set up and planned for His heirs (us) to rule, by disobeying a command He had given us; not to eat from a specific tree.

    Can I just ask this question, were we that hungry? I didn’t find it anywhere in the Bible, where it said they were hungry, it said, “When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate (Genesis 3:6a, New American Standard Bible)”.

    The tree in the middle of the garden didn’t just all of sudden grow food on it and look good for eating. It was the dark information that was spoken to her concerning the tree. They were already like God, they had the keys and authority over all the Earth and because of some contrary words spoken; we lost our position over Earth.

    Now here we are, still kings, but now, with nothing to rule, and instead of dominating all of the works of God’s hands as He commanded us, we now would become servant to the one we obeyed. Now look at us naked and trying to hide from His presence, the very thing we need in order to live. God truly had us in mind when He set up Earth, His extension of Heaven. He GAVE us everything we needed. Every living creature was at our disposal, fish were already here, fowls of the air, a mist from the earth watered — everything.

    He planted a garden for mankind to live and supplied to us every tree that was good to look at and to eat from. He separated the waters and caused them to divide according to His purpose. After all the creating was done, He said to His children, manage everything I have given you; it’s all good, be productive and multiply! 

    God’s created plan for us was to be managers of His expanded territory. He as King would rule from the invisible; Heaven, through us mankind; the visible, by way of the Holy Spirit; invisible inside our hearts, living on the visible; Earth.

    Our assignment was and still is; was to make His extended seen place, look just like His Headquarters; unseen place. And by that I mean, heaven and earth was to function in the same way, under one Ruler, that of the King. And, although we are his heirs, we violated His command and no longer had a place to rule!

  • The Will

    The Will

    When it comes right down to it, one of the most dangerous things God gave us as His children was a will. We read, speak and sometimes sing, I WILL bless the Lord at all times, I WILL give thanks to the Lord with all my heart, I WILL tell of your wondrous works, I WILL sing praises to Your name, O Most High, and so on and so on.

    In my opinion, when we say I Will, this is what we have chosen to do. And because of the unique and wonderful way God made us, we get to decide if we’re going to do something or not, and more importantly, if we will obey Him or not, and even choose Him or not.

    Within my favorite prayer it reads, “ Your Kingdom come, Your WILL be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven”, this statement is saying a lot and I have always asked, what does this mean. In order for us to make this manifest, we first have to understand what His Kingdom is and and what His will is.

    Which brings back to my mind the message Jesus preached about, “Seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness”. Because we fell and were no longer in right standing or position with God; had no guidance or direction from the Holy Spirit; is it safe to say we had no idea of what His will was or is.

    His Kingdom is His government, His will is the laws, purpose, intent and standards in which He set everything up to function. So what Jesus was saying, is change your way of thinking and doing things, the King’s government is here, He brought it on His shoulders and would now show us how to set it up. He knew they had read about it, but y’all know just as they did then, we need a visual, we need something we can see.  

    He was announced as the coming King by John, He was also baptized by him, and in doing so He was stating that He was in agreement with the same teaching, “Repent,  the Kingdom of Heaven is near”.  He then chose for Himself students (disciples) that He would cultivate/transform into God’s way of thinking, doing and living, by showing them and us.

    He was sent from the Father so He had what we needed and He knew what God’s will was for mankind. Jesus was letting us know that the FIRST thing we needed to get was an understanding of how God’s Kingdom functions. Without doing so, we would not have the true knowledge of what His will was for us nor complete the original assignment He gave us in making earth look like Heaven.

    Jesus and His pupils would display to the world what God’s ideas, thoughts and plans were for His sons and daughters. Just as those He selected, elected to get up and follow Him, we too must choose today, if we will accept, line up and receive His teaching and say never the less, not my will, but your will be done.

    I Want My King Back

    I want to start off by saying I did not vote on or agree with, those people who said we want a king that we can see. I just want the record straight, it was not me! I don’t know what their problem was after everything they had been eye witnesses to.

    Just think about it, we had the King of all kings leading us, who brought us out Egypt, opened up the Red Sea and allowed us to cross over on dry land. Then saw when our enemy attempted to come after us to kill us, how the same Sea closed and swallowed them up. Oh and let’s not forget before we got out of bondage, how the death angel came through and killed all of the first born, but not those who had the blood posted over their door post. All the plagues that only attacked those who mastered over us, but caused us no harm. Oh, food is just dropping out of the sky and water coming out of a rock when spoken to or touched, right. We were led in the day by a pillar of cloud, and by night by a pillar of fire in regards to which way we were to go. What man do we know who could do this or let me just say, raise your hand if you know someone who could do this? They had the nerve to say we want a king to rule over us! Does that even sound right?

    So basically what they were saying was we don’t want the One who knows all, created all, that everything belonged to, who had all power in His hands to open hearts, harden hearts to His pleasing that His will be done according to His purpose and will, to be our Lord. We want a mere man, who is just like us, someone we can see to dominate us just like all the nations. Wait a minute, are you talking about those nations who were afraid of you BECAUSE they heard about your King — them?

    Child please! Again, they was NOT speaking for me, I’m just saying. From the beginning, God our Creator had nothing in mind for us but the best. We were to be His people and He would be our God. He told Samuel, this is not aimed toward you, but Me, they are rejecting Me. Give them what they want, but let them know the consequences that come with having a king like erebody else. The king you choose will be able to take this and that from you and ultimately make you his servant, when it’s all said and done. And even after going through every detail of what it meant to take a king from among them was explained, they refused to listen and look where we are now.

    God who created everything already had it set in His mind how He wanted this kingdom earth to be governed. He set in place and in motion the laws He wanted in place and how He wanted His purpose and will to be spread and be manifested to all creation.  We are aliens in this world, who had an awesome Ruler to lead us. They asked for a new management and look what we got, even to this day! If we’re going to get back to that abundant life we’re always talking about and the kingdom life prepared for us, we must get our Lord back!

    Living That Kingdom Life

    In scripture I have read for us not to be anxious about anything, not to worry about what we will eat, drink or wear. We have also been commanded that our hearts not be troubled. Have you turned on the news lately? What the world, fear is everywhere! Everything the Bible said was going to happen is in full force.

    I don’t even watch the news because we’re killing each other, sickness is running rapid, the rich are getting richer and the poor are remaining the same, there is little change for the better that is being seen. How can our hearts and mind not be worried about what’s going on around us?

    I can tell you the only way that I have peace in all this is knowing that we are in this world but not of this world. God originally set up the earth to be and function just like heaven. In it we would be kings and our assignment was to be fruitful and multiply and pass His teachings, laws and principles to every generation.

    We know the story of how we jacked that up. Jesus came and restored us to our rightful place, took the keys back and gave us back our authority. Now as His sons we are to cultivate those around us to thinking and doing as it has been commanded of our Father. 

    In our Kingdom there is only One who set ALL the standards, laws, and principles in the way that we should live. In it we have a King over us kings, and because of the works of Jesus, we have our domain of earth back — our very own world to rule.

    Now the question is, how do we do that? We cannot live a kingdom life nor teach a kingdom life if we don’t know anything about it. So let’s find out together what our kingdom entails.

    We already know there is only One person calling the shots. What He determined at the beginning of creation still hold true today. We also know that we are going to have to be as little children when receiving the good news of the kingdom, forgetting what we know.

    Jesus brought the government of God with Him and now we are to seek it and find out how it works and in order to do that, we first had to change our way of thinking. It’s as though we left our home country and became citizens in another. I look at it like this: me leaving America and relocating to Spain. Now I have to learn their language, what their laws are, how their standard of living is set up that I may be in right standing with this new country. In order for me to learn this new way of living I would need a guide or teacher to help me do so and it would have to be someone who is from that country who knows the country, appointed and trustworthy.

    It’s the same way with us, once we are born again, we need a teacher, guide to help us to do it God’s way. Our connection to our Headquarters is via the Holy Spirit, that way God’s thoughts would be ours, and we would again be in His likeness with one mind. So, so far in this Kingdom, we have a King of kings, we have a place to rule again, the examples our big brother Jesus gave us in our Constitution about the Kingdom, laws that will never change and the Holy Spirit to teach us all truth. I don’t know about you, but this is the only way my heart will not be bothered, because I fully understand how to live and function in our new kingdom.

    What He Said

    Do y’all remember the “What Would Jesus Do (WWJD)” movement? I will never, ever forget it, and neither will my kids. Back in the day I used to be one of many Sunday school teachers, and one particular Sunday the subject was “WWJD”. Two of my sons just happened to be in my class and if I had to say so, we had a pretty good lesson, everyone left thinking the same thing and on a good note.

    Well, Monday rolls around and I was picking up the same two sons from school and someone must have thought I cut them off and began to hit their brakes in front of me and block me in where I could not continue. So, me with my smart self, finally was able to get from behind them, pulled up on the side and begin to yell out my window, “ You think you crazy, let me show you what crazy is”! She could not move forward and neither could I because of the traffic, but I got as close to the car as I could, I could literally touch the vehicle and I was yelling with all of my might, because she had done the most. She would not even look in my direction and she was very scared along with my children who were screaming my name. But by then, I was already on crazy street and did not want to get off (This is a perfect example of how you can be saved, but still do silly stuff, and how we need a Kingdom mindset). My sons began to yell, “Mama, WWJD, WWJD”, I stopped yelling long enough to say, “He, Wouldn’t, Do, This”!

    I said all of that to say, we’ve made a big whoopdy doo about WWJD. Let’s add to that by doing and believing what He said. Before Jesus’ arrival, God sent a Messenger to Zachariah and to Mary, and they both asked questions as to what was spoken to them. One had to be quiet for awhile because of unbelief and the other said, as you have said concerning me, let it be.

    Whether we believe it or not, God has already spoken concerning us before the foundations of the world, and the part we would play has been written. Jesus said, follow Him and He would make us fishers of men; we’re the salt of the earth; the light of the world. He said turn the other cheek, love God with all of our heart mind and soul; love our neighbor as ourselves; do not do our good deeds or pray to be seen; love our enemy; do good to those who spitefully use us, what?

    Yes, what He said, is what we should do in this kingdom. And those of us who know the story of Zachariah and his wife Elizabeth and the virgin Mary who knew no man, what He said doesn’t always make sense.

    When the fishermen had been out fishing all day and had caught nothing, Jesus told them to cast their net on the other side. They responded, “at your word”, they did, and caught more than they could handle. I can tell you now, we will never fully understand the things of God, for His way is not our way, nor His thoughts ours. But because He has the master plan, we should be like Mary and do it, because He said so!

    Can’t Fake The Faith

    The just “shall” live by faith! Most of us in here have heard at one time or another in our life, “Fake it until you make it”. I’m not sure who started it, but, stop the madness! If it is impossible to please God without faith, we as sons and daughters need to repent.

    Every day we make decisions displaying our belief or trust in things and people. We get into elevators and push buttons believing it will take us to the floor of choice. We sit in chairs we know nothing about, trust what manufactures say about their products, follow instructions (most of us anyway), thinking it will do what they said it will do. We take medications written by the doctors, because they said so. How is it, that we believe in everybody but God? I’m waiting on a response, because I want to know what you think. How do you choose what to believe?

    What did they say that convinced us to buy that product, that it will work?  Take that prescription, it will remove the pain. Fly on a plane, it’s safe. Drive our car, it runs smoothly. Sit on the pew on Sunday, confident that it will not only hold us, but others, without folding. Something in us just believes. We do these things without thinking twice.

    May I ask, “Why is it that we all of a sudden have a hesitation when it comes to the things that God said”? Now we have to have a come to Jesus meeting to believe what He has spoken. While in Egypt, the death angel passed over the homes that had blood over their door post. Those who didn’t, their first-born sons died. The plagues affected their enemy, but caused them no harm. They crossed the Red Sea on dry land and saw their foes destroyed by water. They were fed with manna from heaven and won battles — their faith meter in God should have been off the scale!

    No one in that party should have been able to say anty thing about their God. But, that was not the case. Just as it was in Jesus’ day, He said many times in scripture, “Oh ye of little faith”, or “According to your faith be it unto you”. And I cannot tell you how excited I am that He put that choice in the hand of the individual. Not a group faith or the doctor’s faith. The outcome is contingent on “our” faith, our choice.

    When we get a bad report from the doctor and they say there is nothing else they can do, what do we do? We also have a report that says,“By His stripes you were healed”. Whose report will “we” believe? “Now” our faith in whatever report we believe is going to kick in. Since we can feel and see the sickness physically, we tend to trust the words of the doctor. This is why we can’t imitate faith and what I mean by that is we speak the word (I am healed), but we don’t believe what we are saying. This is faith without works. We are saying we have faith but there are no actions behind it, therefore it’s dead.

    Abraham put faith to work, when he was willing to offer his son Isaac to God. Rahab exemplified faith, when she hid the messengers and led them out of the town so they wouldn’t be captured. At the word of Jesus, the fishermen let their nets down and caught many fish.

    I found out a long time ago, it is one thing to read something. But what makes it come alive or make it real is, when what we read about happens to us. In our Constitution, we read about how Jesus healed the sick; but when sickness visits our temple and He heals us, now we know know it’s real. We got proof, we are a bona fide witness and our faith bulb should come on. He gave us all a measure.

    It is written, “A double-minded man is unstable in all of his ways”. It is also written, when we ask and we have doubt, don’t expect to receive anything.

    Let’s face it: we either believe or we don’t. Stop playing! 

  • “You Complete Me.” Child Please!

    “You Complete Me.” Child Please!

    For as long as I can remember when it comes to relationships, “You give 50 percent and he give 50 percent”, is what I heard. Especially if you were in the Baby Boomer era. I was thinking then, if we both are whole (100 percent each), and we only give half of ourselves into the relationship, what happens to the other 50 percent of each? That’s just me and my crazy way of thinking. But in my mind, it made and still does make perfect sense.

    Either those who were giving the information– most likely our parents or some relative trying to be helpful, knew something about us or didn’t really know what they were saying. Did they believe we were functioning in only 50 percent capacity, damaged from the happenings of life?

    What has happened to us that makes us feel as though we need another person to make us feel complete? I’m waiting on your answers. Many of us grew up in single parent homes, missing a father or mother. Could it be from the struggles we saw them endure? It could be anything. The emptiness we feel from our lives. The fact that we’re not where we think we’re supposed to be, failure, the thoughts and perspective we have of ourselves. Who told us we were not complete? Where did that come from?

    Which leads to my next point about depending on others to complete us. If I NEED “you” to complete me, what happens if and or when “you” leave? I have given “you” way too much power. You are now in control of my completeness and like I said in the title, “Child please”!

    I can see why there are so many broken-hearted people in the earth. I see why we cannot love others as we love OURSELVES like we were commanded as sons. We have a problem with us. We’re malfunctioning because we’re less than full. Because of life, cultures and environments that we’ve been raised in, we have lost some of our 100.

    We find the one we said is the one, who makes us happy and entire, and smilingly walk down the aisle and say all those special words. Not knowing that we are taking less than 100 percent into that union. And if he/she (I mean this in respect to if you are a male or female who’s reading this) is doing the same, we have a mess on our hands and a sure recipe for extra problems, insecurities, and sad to say divorce. And hello — leaving one relationship going into another one, thinking it’s going to be better than the last, is not and will not be the solution. Why, because the damaged, half you, have not been dealt with, and you’ll be taking “THAT YOU” into the next relationship; which will have the same results.

    Let’s all pause and take a look into an imaginary mirror and ask ourselves,“knowing what I know about myself, would I marry me”? Be honest, I know some of y’all popped off yes right away. “I’m good” is what you said! For those who can’t see me, know that I am smiling, almost laughing. I am not saying we don’t or shouldn’t have a problem with being incomplete.

    I will say, the only one who can make us whole is the one who created us. He completes us with what we lost from the very beginning, His presence, and through Jesus we can get it back. Just like the birds need the air to properly function, seeds need soil, we “need” the presence of God. It’s the environment He created us to be in and flow in purpose successfully.

    Adam was by himself in the Garden of Eden (I know the animals were there). He didn’t ask God for a helpmate. He was complete being who he was and where he was, not even knowing he needed anyone. It was God who said it wasn’t good for him to be alone.

    This is how He created us to be, whole individuals, not dependent upon mankind to make us feel that way. When we accept Christ into our lives, we need to allow Him to mend us, heal our brokenness, hurt, failures, toxic thoughts. Basically, we need to be renewed, so that we can truly love our God with all of our heart, soul and strength. And, love our neighbors as we love ourselves for real; let’s take back our authority.

    King Jesus, “YOU” complete me; now you said something!

    Democrats, Republicans, Independents

    Which party should I vote for is the question so many are asking, especially now, in the times we’re living in. Me, I’m sitting back thinking, isn’t this voting thing the reason we’re in the position we’re in? Probably just me. 

    The Dems want to run the government one way, the Reps want to do it another way, and I haven’t figured out exactly what the Inds are trying to do except be neutral which reminds me of lukewarm, no thank you on that! You would think that we all live in this world, there should be ONE set way as to how we ALL are supposed to govern ourselves. NOT!

    But that is not the way Creator King originally set it up. He as King decided and placed in motion the standard of living and how His extended kingdom should be governed. You know, the “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”–that. In the beginning, He was taking care of everything. Providing for them, giving them land with milk and honey, large fruit that two had to carry, protecting them from their enemies, leading them in the day and night when necessary. He would advise them, give them strategies on how to do everything; doing what Kings do.

    The standards set was for all people, and they didn’t change yearly or every two to four years. And what I like most is, we as the people didn’t get to vote on how we wanted things to run or on what we wanted based on our feelings.  But one day the people said “we want someone to lead us that we can see like other countries”. I’m like, what other countries? We all right here, and who went and saw some physical leader? I’m just saying/asking. But anyway, because they asked, God gave them what they wanted and now you see where we’re at.

    We have all made it through with some issues when the Dems won and put their plan into action. We have done the same when the Reps won and had it their way. And as we can all see if we are honest, it doesn’t matter what party we vote in to lead our country, if they’re standards are different than the standards set by the Creator Himself, it will not work, it’s going to fail. That would be like the thing created telling the one who made it how it should run. Or the customer telling the manufacturer how to fix the product he made. Gone somewhere with that.

    This is why we need to understand that we are in this world (Earth), but not of it. We then need to prepare ourselves and know that the Bible is going to fulfill itself. We do our research on the candidates running: are their principles the same as our Father? If not, keep it moving. Because as I said earlier, if the way of running things is different from God’s original intent, we’re just exercising our rights and going through the motions.

    As long as we can vote in what God wants out, we will be in a mess. The only peace I have is knowing I can be in this world and yet function from the standpoint of our home country. I can keep our home government’s statutes and principles by applying them. When there is trouble in this world, I know who to call on for protection.

    I get up every morning with hope because the Creator King is still in control. His word does not change and we can’t vote Him in or out. He is the same today, yesterday and forever more. My heart is not troubled, because the government we’re of has everything under control and thank God for that.

    I want my King back!

    God Don’t Need Us, What?

    Myth or truth. I’m not sure if I am the only one, but growing up, I would hear the saints of the Most High God say, God don’t need us, He can do it all by Himself. Now when I was younger, I thought that’s right, because He is God and He can do whatever He wants when He want to.  Well, breaking news, breaking news, just jacqie is now reporting God does need us!

    Remember we are the “them” He commanded to have dominion over His works. He said greater works we would do. One of the most important things we poses as His sons, is the dirt body that He made us with AND the fact that once He declared to let us have dominion over the earth, He Himself could not interfere….I know, I can see the looks on y’all faces now. And I know you’re saying to yourself, what she mean, He could not come interfere, He is God, He created it, everything is His and He can do what He pleases.

    Well, all that is true. However, once He gave that authority over to His children with dirt bodies, He could not come in in spirit form. He would have violated His own word and we all know that His Word will never fail.

    Our adversary, also knew this very well. Remember, he use to live up in heaven and he fully knew and knows how the Kingdom of God works. That’s why he did what he did. Now, I know for sure I am not the only one who has asked or said, “Lord, why didn’t you just stop Eve from eating the apple, nectarine, peach or whatever kind of fruit it was; you are God?” It could have been over and we chilling the way He meant for it to be, right? Now we know, He WOULD NOT, yes, that’s what I said, would to the not violate His word!

    Satan already knew God would not go against His Word. Notice I didn’t say could not, because He as Creator King can do whatever He wants, it’s His world, we’re just in it. Satan had the upper hand on us, because he once lived there. So, he already knew what was in the contract, how God functioned, what He was like, how the Kingdom of God, the country/government works.

    And as long as he knows and we don’t, He will be able to kill, steal and destroy and he doesn’t care about what’s right. We perish from lack of knowledge. He knew God would not come and stop Eve because in order to function LEGALLY in the domain He gave His sons, you would have to have a dirt body. (Nugget)

    Any spirit being here in this domain without a dirt body is illegal. And because we as sons created with the dust of the ground are legal, we have the authority to cast them(spirits) out. Hallelujerrrr, hallelujer! Satan himself has to have a body to do any works. He used the body of the serpent to deceive Eve, that’s why the serpent was cursed and made to crawl.

    Our Creator King made us in His likeness to increase His territory and rulership. Satan is desiring to take over what God created to enlarge the temporary kingdom he has set up. The only fight going on is, the control of the mind; whoever rules the mind; the way of thinking, has power over the body.

    But God is so genius, He already saw how we as sons jacked things up. He told the serpent, your seed and her Seed will be against one another. Am I the only thinking…do women have seed? I thought that belonged to men. (Nugget)

    I asked earlier, why didn’t the serpent talk to the man (Adam)? This may be the answer. The serpent allowed Satan to use/posses its body, and Eve allowed the enemy to speak dark information to her mind, causing her to disobey God. So, in a sense, the adversary used her body to commit an act against our Father. So, God took the female body, that He created to be fruitful and multiply and used it to bring forth His Son.  Jesus was the name given to the dirt body who would be home to Christ who could now legally do works in the earth. Look at God!

    A body was needed, one who could pay the atonement for mankind, one who could and would shed the pure blood that would be needed, once and for all, and one who would obey by saying “Nevertheless, not My will but Your will be done”.

    After Jesus brought glory to His Father by completing His assignment, before He ascended, He said for us to lay hands on the sick and they will recover, and we are to tell of the Good news, setting captives free. Last time I looked you needed hands to lay them and you need a mouth and voice to tell, proclaim, declare or preach. Consider case rested.

    “Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature so they can be responsible for the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the cattle, And, yes, Earth itself, and every animal that moves on the face of Earth.”
     
    God created human beings; he created them godlike, Reflecting God’s nature. He created them male and female. God blessed them:“Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge (Gen 1:26-28, The Message Bible)!
     
    Who is them?  Glad you asked. Them would be us, His sons, mankind, the ones He formed from the dirt of the ground and breathed His personal breath into. The ones He made to act and be, just like Him. What if King Creator God had a thought to make an extended version of heaven.
     
    What if He also wanted sons who thought just as He did,  to manage it. Well, that’s what happened. After He made us in His likeness, He gave us an assignment, to rule, dominate, manage everything He created. I hope you feel the same as I do in thinking what an awesome privilege to be made just like Creator God and given the ability and charge to manage His works. Our King was very mindful of us in that He gave us everything we needed to live, be fruitful and multiply.
     
    So, from the foundation of the world, He had His sons in mind to assist Him in the extension of His Kingdom. Our task as kings/sons, was to make the domain earth look just like heaven. The blueprint would come from an unseen source, the Holy Spirit. King Creator, wanted to rule the seen earth, from unseen heaven, by way of our Governor, the Holy Spirit living on the inside of a physical dirt body, mankind; how cool is that! Don’t you feel blessed that He was mindful of His sons? He gave us a domain, he filled that domain with every good thing to eat and everything we would need to fulfill His command.
     
    Everything growing on its own, we were walking around chilling in the presence of our King communicating with Him daily. God, from the onset wanted sons and not servants who would represent Him in nature and be in a loving relationship with. And because He loved us so, He gave us instructions on how He wanted things managed. Now, y’all know that everything comes with instructions, right? Yes, that includes dominating the works of His hands ( Removing all excuses, you know the one: “I didn’t know!”).
     
    God commanded the Man, “You can eat from any tree in the garden,  except from the Tree-of-Knowledge-of-Good-and-Evil. Don’t eat from it. The moment you eat from that tree, you’re dead (Gen2:16-17, Message Bible). Now could He have been any plainer than that? [This is why I like the Message Bible, straight and to the point] Is anyone else out there thinking, He gave us all the trees to eat of except the one in the middle and we had to mess that up, common mankind!
     
    Now King God gave these instructions to His son Adam, are you wondering like I have been all of my life, where in the world did the serpent come from and get the information or instructions from? This lets us know the enemy is always listening in on our conversations. He is not all knowing but he hears when the Word is going forth and when we declare a thing, then he goes to work to make us doubt.
     
    Before going on to what happened next, King God saw that Adam was alone in the sense that there was no one like him for company. He put him to sleep (first use of anesthesia) took out a rib, created Woman; later named Eve (first surgery). Now again, the command was given to Adam. Here comes the serpent; pause. Can anyone imagine what the serpent looked like walking up right, just asking?
     
    The serpent was clever, more clever than any wild animal God had made. He spoke to the Woman: “Do I understand that God told you not to eat from any tree in the garden?” The Woman said to the serpent, “Not at all. We can eat from the trees in the garden. It’s only about the tree in the middle of the garden that God said, ‘Don’t eat from it; don’t even touch it or you’ll die.’” The serpent told the Woman, “You won’t die. God knows that the moment you eat from that tree, you’ll see what’s really going on. You’ll be just like God, knowing everything, ranging all the way from good to evil” (Gen 3:1-5, Message Bible).
     
    Why Eve and not Adam, he was standing right there. Why didn’t Adam step in, stop her, say something! I know I’m not alone asking these questions, right? Eve may not have been there when God gave the command but, she definitely knew what had been spoken concerning the Tree.  She saw, she took she ate, and passed it to Adam who had the nerve to eat also; for real y’all!
     
    And because of disobedience or listening to dark information, he (Satan) killed our purpose, stole our domain, and destroyed our relationship with King God and the Holy Spirit.
     
    We are “them”. Kings without a place to rule, in trouble because of no presence or connection to our Home Country and King.
     
    We now need a Savior.
